That night was crazy; I keep trying to put it out of my mind. What was that thing? If anyone has a clue, please clue me in. And that smoke or gas or whatever it was smelled different than anything I've ever smelled before. And I smell a lot. Wait, that didn't come out right. I mean... oh whatever.
The thing that weirded me out the most was those markings all over it. Were they inscriptions? Was it some sort of plaque or something? I don't get it. Any ideas?
I tried to get a better idea of it today and show my roommate, but now it seems I can't even bring it up!
Lance, do you have any idea how we can get it back?

Hey Matt/Amber ... is that strange grey rock thing still out there? If so, could you snap a couple digital photos and post them? I'm sitting down here in Cincinnati dying to find out what it is and what it says!
I was thinking that it might be a part from an airplane or helicopter or something. I'm sure the markings on it would help explain that, right?
yea, it's still there. i'm not sure i want to mess with trying to move it without knowing what it is. besides, it looks like it goes down in the ground pretty deep. i have no clue how big it really is.
sure, we can snap a couple shots of it upclose, but i'm not sure what help those markings are going to be. they don't look like any language i've ever seen.
well I'm glad to see the link is back- maybe my roommates will have some more input.

I think it is incredible! Can you believe something like this happened at our very own camp?!?! It is so amazing!! It makes me wonder where the thing came from though...
