Just saying that i am looking forward to coming to the reunion. I have been doing a lot of driving lately so i have been a little hesitant, but the fact of the matter is i will be there. Love you all and miss ya bunches, see you this weekend!

New Site, New Posters!

I think it's awesome that we will have some new contributors soon. I know of a couple that have been chomping at the bit (like Rob) and it is going to be fun to watch how this place morphs with these changes.

It seems like after awhile with not much camp action (amber and matt excluded, of course) now all of a sudden we've got staff reuniting and campers, families, and staff reuniting..and pizza...and pizza...

I just had a thought- has anyone else around here had big changes since summer? I moved to a new school, but most staff seem to be doing the same thing either school or work...what's new for you?

Staff Lounge Update

As you can see, the PVM Staff Lounge has been given a complete overhaul. Not only is it designed differently, but it also contains several new features:

• A new commenting system that's much more comprehensive than before (old comments can be found here)
• The ability to email posts to friends
• A site feed for use on your cell phones, PDA's, and news readers
• The addition of 2004 staff and junior staff as contributors

If you were on staff this past year, you should have received an email that invites you to join our team of bloggers (contributors). Simply click on the link in that email and create your own Blogger account (if you don't already have one), then you'll be able to make posts and comments here as well. Try it ... it's really easy!

If you would like to remove your name from the list of contributors (and not receive email updates, etc), just let me know. Also, please be sure to let me know of any email changes so we can keep you in the loop. Thanks!

Hey I want some pizza!

What's that you say? I said, Hey, I want to go to the PVM Family Reunion Pizza Banquet and catch up with this summer's campers and staff!! Mmmmmm-ah-ah-ah-mmmmm-ah-ah-ah-mmmmmmmm!

Yep, that's right. There's going to be a banquet in 3 different locations next month (see the home page or the newsletter for times and locations). We're inviting staff, camper families, and friends to come reunite, eat pizza, and learn about some exciting changes with the future of PVM. Staff, after the pizza time, we're going to be hanging out with the kids playing games in the other room while the presentation for the parents is going on. Families and staff are both asked to RSVP by calling camp before November 5.

I know I'm excited. So my question to you, campers and staff, is: Who's coming?
