miss camp yet?

Events updated as of 8/29/05
I hope all of you are surviving the culture shock back into everyday life. I have a few tidbits of information that you might be interested in knowing...

STAFF LOST AND FOUND: The cubby shelves in the staff lounge are presently holding an array of what appears to be staff lost and found from the Qhut, bathroom lockers, and abandoned cubbies and mailboxes. This collection includes some staff t-shirts, hats, sweet looking hoodies, books and water bottles, among other things. If you are missing something, let me know so I can keep an eye out or put your name on it, becuase once it goes into the lost and found box, who knows where it'll end up!

SLAM Jams- We are always looking for volunteers who want to spend time with our local middle schoolers. This is a great service project for a group or a way to get community service hours. They are Saturdays from 5-9:30pm (includes set-up/tear-down) at the Eaton YMCA (15 minutes north of camp). Dates for this fall are Sept. 10, Nov. 19, and Dec. 10.

STAFF REUNION!! Past staff from all years are welcome to join us for a staff reunion on October 14-15. And stick around for the PVM Open House on Sunday the 16th. More details to come, but mark your calendars now!

Please call (937.452.3347) or email (amber@pvmcamp.com) Amber if you're interested in any of these events!

So, staff, campers, who ever is listening in, what has happened to you since you left PVM?

i lost a dark green hoodie the last week, as well as in the middle of the summer a 'crew' shirt signed on the hem by kelli, green cargo pants, and...oh! my flipflops that were pre-loved by Amber :-)

since I left pvm, i went to ontario, west kentucky, illinois, indiana, and now am living at my new home in central michigan!

Lance, you're really funny. :-) About the staff reunion- I have been SO excited about coming and haven't stopped talking about how I can't wait to see everyone again, but this past week one of my campus ministers announced that we would be sending a group down to do hurricane relief during our fall break (which is the same weekend as the staff reunion), and I know I am supposed to go (and want to). So I will no longer be able to come to camp, but I will definitely be thinking of you all and will make plans to visit another time! About school- I am having a BLAST and classes are starting to pick up, so I have plenty of work to do as well. I am in a psych rotation for clinicals and love working with the patients more than I have in any other clinical. Something about working with their minds as opposed to physical ailments appeals to me. About family- Kelley's in basic training right now, which seems to be going well, though I'm sure it is harder than I can imagine. My other sibs talk about camp alot and want to go back. :-) Well, I hope everyone is having a great semester so far, and I'd love to get any emails letting me know what you're up to!
