Oh the joys of Uptown Park...
So I just wanted to share with all of my lovely staff members what occurred last night. As my roommate and I were returning from a trip to Coldstone, we met quite a few campers. Did you know that I miss campers? So much?? Having Cynthia run up and attack me for ice cream and meeting new campers just cause I was wearing my Pleasant Vineyard shirt, both priceless. For all of you staff out there, here is the best part: I saw none other than Jake, Joe, and Scotty! :) Big smiles for that one. I just thought I should share, and those boys are great and just about made my summer. That's all! I hope this finds everyone well!

that IS awesome, bethany! i was up uptown last night too, but i missed the boys- bummer! it's great that a lot of us have the chance to keep investing in campers lives even throughout the year- like through mail, those precious surprise encounters like you just mentioned, and even thru the "staff lounge"... i encourage all of you to pick a few campers that God has put on your heart and continue to pray for them and connect with them during the year. staff OR campers: any other cool encounters out there recently?
LIT jane goes to my school and it's great to see her in the halls and such. it makes me smile to see another pvm sweatshirt/tee-shirt in the halls :)
