What I love about PVM

A holiday like Valentine's Day requires someone to make a cheesy post about warm fuzzys and ooey gooey feelings. I figured that I might as well get the ball rolling. Feel free to respond with what you love about PVM. (sidenote, I can't believe I'm writing a valentine's day post and am currently shaking my head at the thought of it) One of my favorite things at camp no matter what time of year is the night sky. It never fails to amaze me how perfect and beautiful it is. Whether I'm sitting outside the bath house during the summer, sitting on the zip platform in the fall or walking to my cabin through the snow, I am always comforted by the sight. The peace that comes from knowing that the creator of the universe, who placed the stars in the sky, cares for me. That's what I love, one of the many reminders from God that he blesses me with each time I turn my eyes away from earth while I'm at Pleasant Vineyard.

KCU

I just had the pleasure of visiting Tim, Kelli, Shawn, Nick, Jenna, and Rob (I don't know where Bryan was) at Kentucky Christian University this weekend. I had to head home after the Super Bowl [commercials] last night, but Matt, Amber, and Lauren are sticking around to do some bluegrass recruiting (for camp counselors) this week.

Boy, I tell ya ... you KCU people are spoiled. Chicken nuggets galore, a free sauna, $5 pizzas, each other, and an upcoming appearance on Ladies' Days by Southpaw, the famed creator of Baby Got Book. What more could you ask for?
